Goal

The main goal is to unlock the EU renovation wave through cutting-edge standardized, lean integrated processes based on industrialization, innovative self-RES power producing and storage technologies, digitalization, and new market entrants.

Project Continnova Sector Agrifood Partner Ifac, Ditro, UNIFG, Poliba, Ingenium, CNR Test site IFAC S.p.A. Description Tera has designed a demonstrator for an “innovative isothermal and intermodal container” for the transport of fruit and vegetables and for their conservation during the transport. Result Tera know-how has contributed to implement the whole project, in particular it was subject to technology transfer by implementin a SMart Gateway and a SW that the project partners used for the final demonstration. Goal The main result of REHOUSE is the increase in the scope and productivity of the renovation process, the improvement of comfort and satisfaction of the building inhabitants and users, and the increased use of integrated solutions for the decentralized generation of renewable energy.   Proposed Action Over the course of next 4 years the project will develop 8 innovative and holistic solutions for efficient, cost-effective and sustainable renovation processes . The solutions would be deployed across 4 selected buildings in Greece, Italy, France, and Hungary respectively. This will include detailed design s , pilot set-up and demonstrations to validate the solutions . TERA4Schools

Project TERA4Schools Sector School buildings, comfort indoor Test site Carelli Middle School– Forlani in Conversano (BA) Objective Raise public awareness and institutions about the need to improve the conditions of the school environment and protect the health of pupils and promote concentration and learning. Proposed action Installazione Installation in the classrooms, in the gyms and in the school offices, of a hundred sensors connected to the BEETA control unit, to monitor general electrical and electronic equipment consumption, thermal consumption, humidity levels, brightness, carbon dioxide and vibrations. Expected benefits Il 45.5% of cases the system detected higher level of CO2 (more than 1000ppm), a limit that identifies an unfavorable environmental condition for the pupils’ attention and concentration. In particular, the greatest presence of carbon dioxide has been detected in the most numerous classes and on winter days, when the window is opened rarely for the air change. The result obtained led to a proposal of a technical table, composed by regional councilors and interested people, as well as schools and companies, to extend the experimentation to reach a draft law on carbon dioxide monitorin in schools and other public spaces.
